Lumel Technologies, Inc. is seeking  Software Engineer - Microsoft Power BI SDK (multiple positions) in Plano, TX to analyze business and technical requirements for Lumel’s Software products (Lumel EPM, xViz, ValQ, Inforiver, and the like) into software design patterns for implementation using SDKs/APIs for SAP Business Objects/SAP Lumira and Microsoft Power BI on Azure.

Role - Software Engineer - Microsoft Power BI SDK
  • Analyze business and technical requirements for Lumel’s Software products (Lumel EPM, xViz, ValQ, Inforiver, and the like) into software design patterns for implementation using SDKs/APIs for SAP Business Objects/SAP Lumira and Microsoft Power BI on Azure.
  • Translate requirements into detailed technical specifications. Document technical processes, systems flow, data usage, and performance needs.
  • Leverage appropriate Microsoft Power BI software development kit (SDK) or other BI Platform SDKs required for data retrieval, presentation and publishing into Microsoft AppSource as a downloadable software.
  • Build software prototypes based on functional and technical specifications and demonstrate user experience.
  • Work with product managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to receive necessary signoffs.

Educational Qualification-
  • Bachelors (US or FDE) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology

Experience-
  • Minimum 2 years of software development experience using SDKs/APIs for SAP Business Objects / SAP Lumira and/or Microsoft Power BI on Azure

Hours : Full time, 40 hours per week
