Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lead Automation Tester with experience in managing a team of testers. The ideal candidate will have a strong product background, proficiency in Selenium, and excellent problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for defining test automation frameworks, mentoring the QA team, and ensuring the highest software quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of automation testers, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks using Selenium.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Analyze product requirements and define test strategies for automation.
- Identify and troubleshoot automation testing issues, ensuring high test coverage.
- Continuously improve test processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in test automation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and stability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in automation testing, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team of testers.
- Strong Selenium expertise and hands-on experience with test automation frameworks.
- Experience working in a product development environment.
- Strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Experience in integrating automation testing into CI/CD workflows.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
- Experience with performance testing and API testing is a plus.
