Role - ACCA - Functional Assurance Analyst
If you have strong fundamentals in accounting & finance and don't mind getting your hands dirty in data modeling tools and technologies, then this role is for you. In the long run, you can expect to grow to become a business/management consultant specializing in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).This role requires you to acquire technical skills in areas like Power BI, SQL and more. We will help you acquire these skills. However, you must be willing, determined & able to master the technical aspects of this role.

Job duties & responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Financial Models: Build and refine financial planning and analysis (FP&A) models directly within our product ecosystem (Power BI, Fabric, Azure, Snowflake, etc.).
- Data Modeling & Preparation: Build and optimize FP&A datasets, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and consistency across high-volume enterprise use cases.
- Product-Focused Scenario Building: Create standardized FP&A scenarios (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, workforce planning, etc.) that can be leveraged as product accelerators and templates.
- Prototype & Validate Use Cases: Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into reusable FP&A features, templates, and frameworks.
- Internal FP&A Domain Expert: Act as the go-to FP&A consultant for Product Management, Engineering, and Quality teams—ensuring product features align with real-world FP&A needs.
- Performance & Scalability Testing: Work with Engineering to validate model performance and dataset scalability in enterprise environments.
- Knowledge Sharing & Documentation: Build internal playbooks, best practices, and functional specifications for FP&A workflows inside the product.
- Customer-Centric Insights (Indirect): Analyze customer feedback, usage data, and industry benchmarks to guide product roadmap decisions—without being in day-to-day pre-sales or onboarding.
- Continuous Innovation: Stay updated on FP&A trends, BI tools, and financial modeling techniques to influence product evolution.
